I found my word for the year
So...
It has taken me awhile to come up with my word for the year. Initially I was distracted by the wonder, busyness & dancing

and then equally distracted by my week of Covid with incredible exhaustion, solitude and the very beautiful but old and needy Poppy. The gift of time has reminded me that life is all about choices and choosing to focus on what’s important keeps life, simple, clear, and on track.
I do love the process of choosing my new years word. For me it's a chance to consider what I need more of and what I need less of as I enter the new year. It's a word I can come back to any time I'm at a cross road, it's a word I will consider any time I feel out of balance. My word for 2023 is FOCUS
